Ark Health Care are currently recruiting for an Engagement Support Advisor at Our Head Office based in Sheffield:
Main purpose of the job:
To work alongside the Engagement Manager to deliver an employee engagement and retention strategy for Ark Home Healthcare. To provide approachable and professional support to employees by phone, the Ark app, email and, when required, in person.
Completing new starter administration an on-boarding including sending offer letters, referencing and DBS checks, induction bookings and contracts to ensure full compliance with internal processes ahead of the ATS system implementation.
To be the main point of contact during the on-boarding process through to long-term employment.
Adhere to internal service level agreements.
Accurately input new starters into the Cold Harbour system.
To achieve Team KPIs for retention of employees and improved engagement.
To provide a support role for new recruits to Ark. Engaging with them on a regular basis during their first days, weeks and months with Ark and acting on any areas of concern.
To provide approachable and professional support to all employees by phone, Ark app, email and, if required, in person.
To work as part of the Shared Services team to improve the overall employee experience from the recruitment process through to end of employment.
To contact weekly Leavers to discuss their reasons for leaving and possible ways they may reconsider their decision.
Engage with Leavers; seeking and acting on their feedback to form reports that will enhance the Engagement strategy.
Work with the Engagement Manager to:
Identify key areas for improvement
Identify ways in which line managers could be further developed to improve employees’ experience.
To support the Marketing Manager with employee communications when required.
To submit reports to the Engagement Manager including, but not limited to, recruitment and retention statistics (job offers, starters, leavers) employee feedback and improvement areas.
Feedback from Employees and other engagement methods and suggested actions.

Attention to detail – ability to provide detailed and structured reports to the management team.

Skills and Experience:
Confident with Microsoft Office.
Excellent communications skills including telephone, face to face and written communication.
