Once successful at interview, you will work through a 5 or 7 day induction and once completed you will start shadowing with an experienced carer. As soon as you are confident you will be provided with a company mobile phone and free uniform and can begin delivering care services.

I’ve been working for Ark since 2010 and this is my first job in the care sector. I was given all relevant training beforehand and was fully supported from the management team to ensure that the transition into this new role was as smooth as possible. Since then I’ve had many opportunities to update my training and further my career, recently being promoted to a Senior Care Worker. The last 5 ½ years have flown by and I can honestly say I wish I had decided to take this career path earlier in life.
